You pay for each Itamite agent installed and active. Monthly via card or annual with −20%. Charged in euros, invoiced from Spain. No lock-in beyond the contracted period.
What counts as one agent?
No tricks: we only bill agents that are actually working.
1 agent = 1 active device
Each PC, laptop, server or VM with the Itamite agent installed and sending heartbeats in the last 30 days counts as one billable unit. If the device is shut down or decommissioned and stops sending data, it stops counting after 30 days.
Discovery agent also counts
The agent we use to discover assets without agents (SNMP, WMI scan, etc.) is billed like any other agent: per Discovery server, not per discovered devices. A single Discovery can inventory thousands of devices without adding to the price.
Virtual and cloud assets
VMs in VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure and GCP count as normal agents once they have the Itamite agent inside. The hypervisor itself is not billed.
Agentless devices
Switches, routers, APs and other network devices inventoried via SNMP through a Discovery do not consume additional licenses. They count as inventory, not as agents.
What happens if you scale up or down?
Everything prorated, no surprises, no penalties for growing.
10% margin included
If you add agents during the contracted period, the first up to 10% of the contract are automatically included at no charge. It's our courtesy margin: contract for what you have today, not for what you think you'll have.
Above 10%: quarterly true-up
When you exceed the margin, we calculate the excess each quarter and prorate it to the end of the contract. No surprise recalculations, no unexpected invoices. Example: if in month 4 you add 20 agents over your annual contract, we charge you 20 agents × 8 months prorated at annual rate.
Reductions: adjustment at renewal
If you reduce agents during the year, we don't refund money (SaaS standard), but at renewal we recalculate based on the actual current number. If you drop below the plan minimum, we move you to the appropriate plan — always in your favor.
60-day notice renewal
We send you a quote 60 days before expiration with the current agent count. You confirm or renegotiate. If you don't respond, it renews automatically. Cancellation without lock-in beyond the contracted year.
