Does it work with my existing POS software?
Yes. Itamite is POS software agnostic. Works with all major Spanish/European market solutions: Hiopos, ICG, Cegid, NCR Counterpoint, Oracle Symphony, Lightspeed, Toast, Square, PrestaShop POS, proprietary solutions. OS-level agent integration, not POS API.
And if the store loses Internet?
POS continues operating with local software (resilient POS). Itamite has local configuration cache: when connection returns, syncs inventory and reports heartbeat. Remote sessions require active connection.
How many POS can it manage?
No architectural limit. Documented cases with 1,500-3,000 POS chains. For more than 5,000 endpoints: Enterprise tier with regional sharding and delegated administrator per country/brand.
Is there extra cost for non-PC equipment (scales, kiosks)?
Passively detected equipment (no agent, network scan): included at no extra cost. Equipment with Itamite agent installed: counts as "agent" in plan. Transparent policy published at /pricing.
